Tristen sat on the edge of the bed, looking out at the ocean through the giant window in the bedroom. The sky was dark, a sign of an oncoming storm. He shivered slightly at the thought of a thunderstorm.
'Only an hour until Adrian comes home,' He thought to himself. 'He'll comfort me if there is a storm.'
Tristen grabbed the large, blue blanket off the bed that he and Adrian shared, and headed downstairs into the living room. He sat on the brown, leather loveseat and wrapped himself in the blanket, turning the television on.
He flipped through the stations until he reached the news.
"There has been an accident in the center of the city due to the increasing rain," the lady on the screen said. "We advise all those who are at work to leave immediatly and those at home to stay where you are until this storm passes."
A bright flash lit up the dark room and Tristen's eyes widened in fear. There was a crack of thunder and he let out an almost inaudible whisper. He threw the blanket over his head when the next flash of lighting again lit the room.
The next crack of thunder was much louder and longer than the last and Tristen quickly ran up the stairs to the bedroom.
He closed the curtains, so he didn't have to see the waves of the ocean. Sitting on the bed, he was shaking, thinking of a way to pass the time until Adrian came home.
Another bright flash of lightning and the electricity went out with it. Tristen let out another whimper and started to cry in fright when the thunder came a few seconds later.
He quickly hid under the covers of the bed and quietly cried to himself.
There was another crack of thunder and Tristen could feel a hand on his back. He let out a terrified shriek and quickly slid back out of the covers and crawled to the headboard of the bed.
"Sh, Tristen it's me." Tristen smiled in relief as he saw Adrian's concerned face. The smile was soon wiped clean off with the next flash of lightning and crack of thunder. He quickly threw himself into Adrian's arms and cried into his shoulder.
Adrian lovingly rubbed his lover's back and kissed his forehead. "It's all right love, I'm here now, I always will be."

Alone

It started today... Something I never expected. I learned that I’m pregnant today. I am so happy. I cannot wait to tell my parents or my boyfriend Andrew. The sad thing is, that the same time I tell my parents I’ll be coming out to them. They have no idea that I’m gay. My parents have no idea at all. I know they will be happy for me. They always talk about wanting grandchildren once I get older. It may be happening earlier than planned, but they will get as they wish. I’m trying to decide how to tell Andrew about our little angel.
Maybe I’ll buy a pacifier and give him it in a box

Sitting outside on his roof, the red haired half demon enjoyed a smoke as he watched the setting sun toward the West. A cool breeze blew by, the smoke from his cigarette blowing gently in the breeze. He'd had to cut back on smoking the past eight months, and it was honestly killing the man.
His lips twitched into a smile, though. It was worth it, -and he'd do it again- because inside his little home was the only reason he'd ever cut back in smoking willingly. He hummed and ran a hand through his long red hair. Think it's time I cut it aga

I’m scared. No, terrified. The thought of giving birth to my second child terrifies me to death. My first pregnancy, I was a typical parent to be I suppose you can say. Excited to finally be able to have a family of your own. Preparing for everything, having a midwife check how I were doing.. all of that was normal.
Until the birth.
I’ve never been in so much pain. She was stuck.. she wouldn’t move whenever I tried to push.. It hurt so bad. Further things had to be done to get my daughter out.. clamps. Yes, clamps. I lay on a bed, with my legs propped up, with a doctor sat in front of me with a metal c

Just some random piece of cute fluffly-ness. I love shounen-ai stories when the cute little uke is afraid of the storm and wants to cuddle with their protective seme's.
